This post is a break from the norm and a bit personal!

I left my home town some 6 years ago and at the time a very good friend had just had some bad news! He had been diagnosed at the age of 33 with Early Onset Parkinsons Disease!

I was leaving England for a new life and in the early moments of Pauls News I never understood what effect this was having on him until now, 5 years later I have found out the truth about someone who was a Dear friend of mine from the age of 6 years old!

I found out that he was far from OK and was close to taking his own life, and it saddens me that I never even knew it!

I AM ecstatically happy however that I find out about this through an email from him and a copy of his new book, rather than the other kind of news, so I am full of both sadness and joy at the same time!

More than anything this guy who I have shared many life experiences with has become a poet and author this I would never have imagined from Paul in a million years!

Portions of the sales of books will be donated to the Parkinsons Disease Society.
