Quick review: NewsStand RSS reader for the iPhone
Love trying out new apps for the iPhone! You know the score yeah yeah I want that, install, play, uninstall!
I bought NewsStand a few weeks back and didn’t really see anything special and didn’t like the way it marked my google reader items as read when I wanted to leave it unread so uninstalled fairly quickly.
Anyway here is a quick screencast of the app as I wanted to test out the new setup to screencast iPhone to Mac using DemoGod, ScreenSplitr and ScreenFlick.
No really no script no rehearsal no editing! Thats how the pros do it!

And here’s a special giant iPhone i use for these screencasts it stands against the wall and then I use an old Sony HandyCam to record it

Another Update: Took out the Vimeo embed as that seems to be corrupted, will try to upload and embed again but you can still access the movies via the link above…
Any new apps you recommend trying?
I can definitely relate to that. You get really excited about a new app and then get rid of it just a few weeks later. Sad but true.
