I Love Typography! I Love Wordpress too although I’m not really very good at either so need help!
On my search for tweaking and improving this site I found a few links to CSS or plugins that may help improve your site too:
WP-sIFR
This really is a no-brainer some easy instructions in an earlier post.
‘WP sIFR was created to remove the complications from getting custom fonts on a Wordpress site. With WP sIFR, you only have to upload your SWF font file to the plugin directory and then login, activate it, and configure its styles all in the Settings panel.’
WP-Cufon
Supposedly quicker than sIFR a healthy alternative as sIFR sometimes takes some time to render if you’re not using a cache plugin.
‘This Plugin makes it totally easy to implement Cufon into your WordPress Blog. The only thing you have to do is converting your fontfiles and upload them into the plugins directory. You can enable the objects you want to get replaced in the Admin Menu of WordPress.’
Font Burner
3 Steps to embed many non standard fonts into your design.
Drop Caps
‘The drop caps plugin is fairly self-explanatory. It adds mark-up to your posts and pages which allows you to create wicked drop caps.’
Using CSS
10 Examples of Beautiful Typography and How they did it…
I think this is the one that started me off in trying to get a handle on CSS typography and what can and can’t be achieved.
‘There are a lot of great sites out there that have beautiful Typography using only CSS, however simply looking at them is only half of the picture. We want to know what did they do, and how/why does it result in beautiful type?’

TypeChart
Take a look at various css formats for headings, body text etc. then simply click ‘Get CSS’ copy and paste into your style.css file!
‘Typechart lets you flip through, preview and compare web typography while retrieving the CSS.’
